Auctions are exciting and it is tempting to keep bidding even beyond the amount you are comfortable. Having a firm maximum bid will help you stay within your budget. Be sure to remember applicable taxes.
• Ask questions: You are allowed to stop an auction and ask questions if you need to!
• Bidding is a contract: Once you place a bit, you are bound by that bid. Your bidder’s card will have information about the terms of a bid, so make sure that you understand the terms and conditions.
